Dear George C. Marshall Elementary School Students, Families, and Community Members,
On behalf of Marshall Elementary School, I want to extend a warm welcome to the 2022-23 school year! We are entering the year full of positive energy and enthusiasm and cannot wait to support the growth and development of each and every one of our students. Whether you are a new Marshall family, or a returning family, I invite you to match our enthusiasm and bring your energy to the table right alongside us. This year our community is committed to learning with the spirit, courage, and curiosity of a Mustang!
We look forward to opening our school up to the community that we serve in the coming year in a safe way that supports the growth of our students and the health of our community. Quality relationships are a key component to the individual progress of students and the overall success of our learning community. Our relationship with your student as well as your entire family is a priority for the entire Marshall staff. It is imperative to us as a learning institute that each person who comes through our doors knows that they are part of this community, and that they play an important role in the education of the students who attend Marshall. This community is essential to the positive and supportive environment that is necessary in our efforts to create the ideal learning platform for our students.
Marshall teachers and staff continue to be dedicated to the development of our school wide STEM focus. It is our mission to prepare our students for the world we live in by developing not only knowledge, but the skills and dispositions they will need to be leading members of our society. This concept not only builds the foundation of learning experiences for our students, but it is also at the center of planning and development for our teachers, staff, and leadership. We strive for the continued growth of our entire community, and pride ourselves on modeling this growth mindset to our students.
