We want to make you aware of a temporary change for the 2023-2024 school year. As you may have heard, the Board of Education approved the consolidation of our Highland Elementary and Foothill Elementary campuses this school year. As a result, we have a unique opportunity to renovate and enhance our Marshall Elementary School campus to meet the needs of students, teachers and staff members. In an effort to renovate the site without disruption to teaching and learning, for the 2023-2024 school year only we will temporarily move our Marshall Elementary School to the school site across General Jim Moore Blvd currently occupied by the Dual Language Academy of the Monterey (225 Normandy Rd). This temporary move will allow for work to prepare the Marshall Elementary School campus for the return of students, teachers and staff in the 2024-2025 school year and beyond.
We realize change can be unsettling and we will work with our community to ensure that we meet the needs of our students, families, teachers and staff members. We will continue to communicate with families toward the end of spring, as well as through summer with details on the upcoming school year and what you can expect.
